Injection pumps

Single component injection with airless pumps refers to the use of airless pumps to apply single component injection materials. These materials are commonly used to seal, reinforce, or repair structures or surfaces, such as cracks, crevices, or damaged areas. Airless pumps provide an efficient and precise way to apply such materials in a uniform and controlled manner. This is how single component injections with airless pumps work:

  1. Selection of Material: First, the appropriate injection material is selected. These materials can be epoxies, polyurethanes or other formulations that solidify and harden after application.
  2. Preparation of the Surface: The surface to be treated must be adequately prepared. This could include cleaning, opening crevices, or removing loose or damaged materials to allow for better injection material adhesion.
  3. Preparation of the Airless Pump: The airless pump must be configured according to the specifications of the injection material. This may involve selecting the appropriate nozzle, adjusting pressure, and other parameters.
  4. Loading Material: The injection material is loaded into the tank or container of the airless pump. Make sure the material is compatible with the pump and that it has been mixed evenly.
  5. Application: Once the airless pump is set up and material is loaded, the airless gun is used to apply material directly into the crack or crevice. The pressure generated by the airless pump atomizes the material, allowing for uniform distribution.
  6. Curing: After application, the injection material begins to harden and solidify over time, forming a strong seal and reinforcement in the treated area.
  7. Flow and Pressure Control: Airless pumps allow for precise flow and pressure control of the injected material, which is important to ensure adhesion and even distribution.
  8. Cleaning and Maintenance: After use, it is important to properly clean the airless pump and gun to avoid hardening of the material inside and to ensure proper operation in the future.

Single-component injections with airless pumps are widely used in the building, construction, renovation and other applications where it is necessary to seal or reinforce damaged surfaces or cracks.
