Line markers

Airless stripers are devices used to create lines and marks on surfaces such as road pavements, sports fields, parking lots and signaling areas. These machines use airless technology to evenly apply paint or material to draw lines, resulting in a precise and professional finish. Here’s how airless stripers work:

  1. Airless Pump: Airless stripers are equipped with a high pressure airless pump. This pump generates a strong pressure that pushes the material through the system, allowing it to be applied evenly and precisely.
  2. Material Tank: Airless stripers contain a tank where the striping material, which is usually a specially formulated paint, is poured into. The paint may be suitable for application to roads, sports fields, or other specific surfaces.
  3. Spray Gun: The spray gun is the part that dispenses the material onto the surface to be traced. It is connected to the airless pump and material source.
  4. Templates and Guides: Airless stripers often include templates or guides to help determine the path and width of the lines to be striped. These masks can be adjusted to get straight and precise lines.
  5. Width and Thickness Control: Airless stripers usually allow you to adjust the width of the lines based on the specific needs of the project. You can also control the thickness of the lines by adjusting the application speed and pump pressure.
  6. Applying Lines: Once the machine is positioned over the surface to be traced and the settings have been adjusted, the paint or material is dispensed through the spray gun. By moving the car along the desired path, clear and well-defined lines are created.
  7. Drying: After application, the tracing material must dry or harden before the surface can be used. Drying times may vary depending on the type of paint or material used.

Airless stripers are used in a number of contexts including:

  • Road Markings: Create lane lines, pedestrian crossings, traffic symbols, and other markings on roads and highways.
  • Sports Fields: To draw lines of play on soccer fields, futsal, tennis courts, basketball courts and other sports fields.
  • Car parks: To mark parking lines, parking space numbers and other indications in car parks.
  • Industrial and Logistics Areas: To mark loading and unloading areas, route indications and other guidelines in industrial and logistics facilities.

The use of airless stripers guarantees a precise and uniform application of the lines, improving the appearance and functionality of the traced surfaces.
